Are you high school student and want to make further use of your Secondary School Resurch or your final thesis on the topic of water and its sustainability?
Mendel University in Brno has been becomming the organizing institution of the competition and JCMM its partner.
The Stockholm Junior Water Prize is an international project in which thousands of high school students from more than 30 countries over the worsd participate every year. Any high school student studying at a Czech school can apply either as an individual or in a team. Students compete for the best project that either directly or indirectly relates to water and its sustainability.
What can a student gain by participating in the competition?
The 5 best projects will strive to win on the campus of Mendel University. The winner of the National Round will receive CZK 50,000, a Commemorative diploma and an all-expenses paid trip to the International Round to Stockholm, including accommodation and food. The prize will be presented to the winner by the award's patron, Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden.
For the first time in 25 years, the competition came to the Czech Republic South Moravian Region, and three students participated in it in the National round. Cecílie Čechová, a student of the Křenová Grammar school supported by JCMM, will represent our Republic, i.e. the South Moravian Region, in the International round in Stockholm.
What does a student have to do to participate in the competition?
The condition is to submit an Annotation and then a written work, which will be assessed by a professional commitee made up of experts from across the country.

Deadline for submitting final work (electronic submission, in Czech language, 20 pages): 30th of Apřil 2022
