About the project

This project investigates the emergence and propagation of molecular chirality at surfaces using advanced surface science techniques. Through real-time nanoscale imaging, it explores the dynamics of chiral self-assembly and the induction of homochirality across molecular layers. The aim is to design enantioselective surface for efficient chiral separation, with direct relevance to safer pharmaceutical production.

Why science?

I have always enjoyed solving puzzles and finding hidden connections. As a child, I loved detective stories and assembling pieces into a complete picture. Science allows me to do exactly that – to ask questions, follow clues, and slowly build understanding from fragments. What motivates me most is that solving a scientific problem does not end with the answer itself, but can have a lasting impact on how we understand the world and shape the future.

What do I like most about Brno

I was born and raised in Brno, so it’s a familiar and comfortable environment for me. I appreciate that I can find everything I need here for both work and everyday life, while the city also has an open and friendly atmosphere. For me, Brno is a place where it’s easy to live and work.
