About the project
3D printing applications in the pharmaceutical industry are invaluable, ranging from solid dosage forms and tissue engineering to wound dressings. The main benefit lies in easy customisation. This project will focus on using 3D printing to create innovative dressings that include natural ingredients, such as polysaccharides and natural antiseptics, thereby redefining the whole design and delivery of wound care, making treatment more effective and patient-oriented.
Why science?
I pursue science because I'm driven by curiosity and the satisfaction of transforming unknowns into clear, testable explanations. I'm particularly fascinated by how small, often invisible effects can lead to significant, measurable outcomes. Research gives me the opportunity to contribute to new knowledge, and being part of that collective progress is what motivates me.
What do I like most about Brno
Brno is the city where I was born and where I’ve experienced some of the best moments of my life. Although I spent my university years abroad and often searched for a slice of Brno wherever I went, nothing compares to the city itself. Brno has everything: exciting opportunities in science, a supportive community, authenticity, and an atmosphere you can’t find anywhere else.
