About the project

Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), the most common leukemia among adults, is largely driven by the deregulation of B-cell receptor (BCR) signaling. For the first time, we aim to investigate the contribution of long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) to the deregulation of the BCR pathway. Our preliminary data suggest that lncRNAs can play an important role in tuning the activity of this pathway in CLL. This has implications for understanding disease aggressiveness and developing targeted therapy

Why science?

I choose science because of my deep love for research and exploring the unknowns of life. It's a field that fuels my curiosity and allows me to delve into the mysteries of the natural world. For me, science is not just a subject, but a journey of endless discovery and personal fulfillment.
