About the project

How organs are formed is a fundamental question of developmental biology. External signals from microenvironment are directive for organ development and similar growth-promoting cues are misemployed in cancer. I study how three major signaling pathways - FGF, WNT and NOTCH - regulate state and fate of fibroblasts, the leading cell type of the microenvironment. My findings will pave the way for novel microenvironment-targeted anti-cancer therapy.

Why science?

Everyday, I see things that no one has seen before! How cool is that?

What do I like most about Brno

Not too big, not too small and great cafés!
