Pochopení vývojových trajektorií zubu jako nový přístup pro dentální regeneraci

About the project

Teeth are important structures positioned at the very beginning of the digestive system. Human teeth have only limited regenerative and reparative capacity. We propose a completely novel approach to regenerative medicine by adopting natural developmental mechanisms for controlling highly specific differentiation of pluripotent stem cells into odontoblasts - cells capable of repairing dentin - the bone-like tissue of the tooth.

Why science?

In 10 years time I hopefully see myself doing what I enjoy doing the most - interesting research that may contribute to improving our lives.

What do I like most about Brno

Brno has a great atmosphere - a great balance between the excitement of a large city and the peace of a village.
