Rector of Masaryk University Mikuláš Bek honored young scientists at the ceremony Dies academicus on 16th May 2019.  

Kamil Paruch, a chemist, won one of the awards for his work in the  development of substances with an anticancer effect.  He was a grantee in the SoMoPro I. programme in the JCMM.

Marek Mráz, a biologist, involved in the treatment of chronic lymphocytic leukemia, received an award for an extraordinary placings in an international grant competition. He received a grant in the SoMoPro II. programme here in the JCMM. Congratulations :)!
