O mém projektu
Multiple myeloma is the second most common malignant hematological disease and it is cause by malignant plasma cells which could produce monoclonal immunoglobulin. Extramedullary relapse occurs when malignant plasma cells are out of the microenvironment of bone marrow. The overall survival is significantly shorter in case of extramedullary relapse and the prognosis is poor. There are just few studies about extramedullary relapse - there is need for more studies which could help patients with this disease. I hope that my project could help this patients.
