O mém projektu
Follicular lymphoma is a common indolent B-cell malignancy with a very variable clinical course. An adverse event in the course of follicular lymphoma is histologic transformation to diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL), which is associated with poor prognosis. Factors that might regulate the expression of genes involved in FL transformation are microRNAs and other non-coding RNAs. In this study we aim to interrogate the role of miRNAs and long non-coding RNAs in FL transformation to DLBCL and aggressiveness in FL. This study could help to identify novel therapeutic targets.
