Recently, non-equilibrium atmospheric pressure plasma jets became investigated for their unique properties and promising applications. The goal of the project is to understand the enhancement of polymer adhesion to bonding resins after the interaction with gliding arc and RF plasma jets. Plasma-gas processes will be described with the help of modelling and plasma diagnostics (OES and high speed camera imaging) and the findings will be correlated with the analyses of modified polymer surfaces.
