O mém projektu

Breast cancer is the most often diagnosed cancer and its metastases cause about 90% of deaths due to this malignancy. Here we aim to in-depth characterize the role of two proteins most significantly associated with metastatic behavior of luminal A subtype, carboxypeptidase B1 and PDZ and LIM domain protein 2, in animal models. In parallel, we will characterize their protein-protein interaction and functional network that may be driven by NF-kappa B pathway, evaluating the effect of selected inhibitors, in order to propose improvements in breast cancer therapy.
