Delegation of University of Technology visited Czech Centre in Izhevsk

The Izhevsk State Technical University in Russia organised a conference to its 60th anniversary, held from 20th to 22nd February. The delegation of University of Technology in Brno together with deputies of our organisation took part in the conference.

On this occasion the rector of Izhevsk University signed an agreement about further cooperation with JCMM. The delegation visited Czech centre at Izhevsk University, which is led by the JCMM lector Ivo Hopp. Izhevsk students of Czech language prepared under leadership of the lector a performance - fairy tale Cinderella. It was followed by a debate with students, who had chance to practice their knowledge of Czech language.


Application process for the academic year 2012/2013 has been closed by 30th January 2012

Applicants for Scholarship for International Students had opportunity to submit an application in the programme from 1st December 2011 till 30th January 2012. 205 applications were accepted altogether, out of which 52 were rejected due to  their incompleteness or a total lack of knowledge of Czech language, which is essential for the study field of their choice. Applicants come from all over different countries as every year, majority from Russia (80 applicants), Bosnia and Herzegovina (23), Ukraine (20), further also from Serbia, Syria, Belorussia, India and other countries.

153 applications have been accepted to the second round. Now the successful applicants need to pass through university admission procedure and there is a final choice of scholarship holders in the last week of June 2012.


Governor of the South Moravian Region has welcomed new international scholarship holders JCMM

There was an official welcome ceremony for international scholarship holders JCMM held on 24th October 2011.  Governor of the South Moravian Region Michal Hašek took part in the ceremony and gave the students certificate about their attendance in the scholarship program "Internationalisation of South Moravian Universities".

In the academic year 2011/2012 there have been supported 26 scholarship holders, whereas majority of students from Russia, Serbia, Ukraine, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Syria and other countries. The program has been running already 6 years and we have supported over 150 international students.


We are connecting students, teachers, scientists and those, who are willing to transfer their know-how and knowledge to other people.
