WHO can apply for the Brno Ph.D. Talent Competition

Only the applicants who meet all of the following Eligibility Criteria at the time of submitting their applications may register for the competition.

Eligibility Criteria:

• study full-time at a partner university
• be enrolled in the first year of a doctoral study program *
  
• study technical or natural sciences

Only the applicants who succeed in the competition and are nominated as beneficiaries of the financial aid, declare officially that they have met the eligibility criteria before signing the agreement on financial aid. Compliance with the Eligibility Criteria can usually be documented by a confirmation of studies issued by the partner university.

Eligible Fields of Study

The competition is open to doctoral students of technical and natural sciences only. Doctoral programs in arts, humanities
and social sciences are not eligible. This criterion applies to the applicant′s field of study as well as to the content of his or her scientific project.

Note:

* the competition is open to the first year DSP students only (1st or 2nd semester) and the financial contribution covers the period from the 1st to the 3rd year of doctoral study
