BRNO Ph.D. TALENT

Are you thinking about pursuing a Ph.D.? Do you have an idea for innovative scientific project? Do you want to focus fully on science but you know you cannot subsist on the scholarship? Apply for the Brno Ph.D. Talent competition and get a financial aid to cover your living expenses and improve significantly your study conditions. To succeed in the competition of doctoral students from four universities is also a great reference.


The Brno Ph.D. Talent competition offers doctoral students an opportunity to gain extra funding in the amount
of 10 thousand CZK per month which covers the first three years of doctoral studies. The total contribution to one student reaches 360 thousand CZK! The competition is open to first year doctoral students of technical and natural sciences enrolled at one of our partner universities. The financial aid is awarded annually to 20 new students.  

The evaluation of the competition is based on excellent results and remarkable activities of the applicant documented primarily by professional CV. The quality and innovativeness of presented scientific project and the support for its elaboration provided to the applicant by his/her department and supervisor are also taken into account. Applications for the competition are submitted electronically through our registration system. The next registration period is planned for September 2011.
